    • Jul 08, 2019 · Hey Tacoma family I upgraded my 2016 TRD 4x4 with the bilstein 5100 shocks all, front and back. I had my dealership put the front at the highest setting and the back I had them at a leaf. The front is at 2.75inch and the rear is at 2inch. It definitely rides more stiffer but I actually think it's a better ride. Also I have had no vibration.

Nothing wrong with them the ride was just firmer than I like. Fronts are height adjustable and come with springs and isolator's installed. Fronts are currently set on 4th notch (2" of lift). These should fit 07-13 GM 1500 vehicles (Silverado, Sierra, tahoe, suburban, yukon). I already had Bilstein 5100 shocks in the rear. They have approx 32,000 miles on them.     Bilstein shocks are a proven company, not chinese brand. Do the search. Pretty sure OEM shocks are not LEXUS brand. Even most tacoma and 4runners shocks nowdays are Bisltein brand, I believe. I will go with Bilstein over the OEM any day. Didn't care about the damping, never noticed a difference.
